About Us
We are a fast-paced, custom plastic injection molding company known for our precision and commitment to quality. We’re looking for an experienced and hands-on Set-Up Technician who is ready to take ownership of machine setups and support efficient production across our molding operations.
What you will do (Summary)
Perform mold changes and machine setups according to production schedules
Ensure machines are operating within process parameters and producing quality parts
Assist in troubleshooting molding issues and make adjustments to minimize downtime
Coordinate with Process Technicians, Operators, and Quality Inspectors to maintain smooth workflow
Set up auxiliary equipment (such as dryers, mold temp controllers, robots) as needed
Maintain clean and organized work areas and adhere to safety standards
Accurately document setup information and report any issues to leadership
Assist in breaks and material handling as needed
What we're looking for
1–3 years of experience in plastic injection molding setups
Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with injection molding machines and tooling
Ability to follow setup sheets, read blueprints, and understand molding processes
Solid understanding of safety procedures and attention to detail
Willingness to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
High school diploma or equivalent required

Requirements
SAFETY FIRST MINDSET
1–3 years of experience in plastic injection molding, specifically in mold setup/changeovers
Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations
Familiarity with injection molding machines (e.g., Toshiba, Arburg, or similar)
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and process parameters
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for mold changes and machine adjustments
Knowledge of auxiliary equipment (material dryers, mold temperature controllers, robotics, etc.)
Basic understanding of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001) and production documentation
Ability to troubleshoot issues related to setup or molding process
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods
High school diploma or GED required
Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
