Job Title: Engineer - Chassis Mechanical Development & Validation

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Chassis Mechanical Development & Validation Engineer to support the design, testing, and validation of lateral, longitudinal, and vertical vehicle control systems. You will work on cutting-edge electric vehicles and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop high-performance steering, suspension, and braking systems from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute development and validation efforts for chassis mechanical systems from component to full-vehicle level.
Collaborate with attribute groups and other systems teams to ensure optimal integration and performance.
Set up, install, and calibrate data acquisition systems; perform real-time and post-processing data analysis.
Design and specify test fixtures, jigs, and other hardware as needed for validation activities.
Create detailed test reports and evaluate pass/fail criteria.
Define and develop test procedures, specifications, and ad-hoc validation plans.
Own and manage Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test setups and activities.
Contribute to the creation and execution of Design Verification Plans (DVPs).
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to complete validation efficiently.
Provide technical insights and contribute to long-term chassis technology roadmaps.
Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
Minimum of 2 years of industry experience in automotive chassis systems.
Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics and NVH principles.
Hands-on experience with prototype build and validation.
Proficient in data acquisition systems and test instrumentation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
Proficient in 3D CAD modeling (CATIA V5/V6 preferred).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 25% (domestically/internationally). Preferred Skills:
Experience in driven-vehicle attribute development and prototype test driving.
Familiarity with CAE tools for simulation and analysis.
Experience with design release engineering processes.
Exposure to cross-functional validation programs and team collaboration.
