PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Perform in a production capacity in a high volume copy center to facilitate the imaging needs if the District. QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education and Experience:
Minimum high school diploma or GED from accredited institution.
Exposure to basic copy center functions and processes preferred.
Computer literacy preferred. Other:
Physical and mental aptitudes necessary to train on a fast track and with measured success as a copy center contributor including training on high volume digital copy equipment; and binding machine equipment such as 3o' paper cutter, paper drill, thermal bind, AB Dick off-line collator/folder/stitcher unit, and shrink wrap machinery.
Training in light machine maintenance; training basic customer service skills; and training in various administrative tasks such as job costing and inventory control.
Must possess a valid Texas Driver's license. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Train and successfully utilize the skills required to operate various manual and electronic binding machines and other finishing equipment
Train and successfully utilize the skills required to operate programmable, high volume copiers simultaneously
Train and successfully utilize the skills required to shelve supplies and chemicals
Train and successfully utilize the skills required to perform routine light maintenance on various pieces of copy and binding equipment
Train and successfully utilize the skill required to perform basic administrative skills such as job costing and inventory control
Ability to operate in a team environment with a focus on quality customer service behaviors
Deliver printed materials as needed in district vehicle
