OCI ENGINEER

JOB DISCRIPTION :

Creation of OCI resources such as Buckets, VM instances, and Vaults.

Analyzing OCI logging logs/ OCI Logging Analytics.

A strong understanding of OCI networking components such as Virtual Cloud Networks, Subnets, Route Tables, Security Lists, Network Load Balancers, and Dynamic Routing Gateway (DRG).

Deploy new VM instances running the F5 BIG-IP VE Software

Configure F5 product to route traffic to and from on-premises and cloud resources.

Ability to install and configure cloud environment including:

OCI CLI

Terraform

GIT

Visual Studio Code (IDE)

Sound knowledge of CI CD pipelines and ADO for OCI.

Deploy and maintain all OCI resources utilizing terraform and the OCI Terraform provider.

Create, maintain, and utilize Terraform Modules.

Create new and maintain existing Dynamic Groups (Groups of resources).

Create new and maintain existing Policies (IAM Permissions).

Use Cloud-Init to install and configure VMs so they are fully configured at deployment.

Strong knowledge on how to work with the terraform state file

Ability to develop new and maintain existing Bash Shell scripts.

Ability to develop new and maintain existing Python programs / scripts.
