Company-paid Employee Assistance Program Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Real Estate & Transactional Law: Provide legal counsel on real estate matters, including acquisitions, leases, and property management agreements.

Contract Review & Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to operations, vendor agreements, and other business transactions.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to state and federal healthcare regulations, including licensing, reimbursement, and industry standards.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential legal risks related to senior living operations, employment law, and corporate governance.

Corporate Support: Assist in structuring transactions and business strategies that align with company goals while minimizing legal exposure.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Provide guidance on dispute resolution and collaborate with outside counsel as needed.

Operational Support: Work closely with leadership, operations, and human resources teams to address legal concerns and implement best practices. Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Active state bar license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain)

5+ years of legal experience in real estate, transactional, or healthcare law (senior living experience preferred)

Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare and senior living industries

Exceptional negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams
