Functional Responsibility: Design, test, upgrade and integrate new or existing telecommunication networks, systems and equipment in accordance to the organization's business requirements. Document all aspects of the engineering process as it relates to build and configuration, testing, and deployment of telecommunication networks, systems and equipment. Coordinate changes such as implementation of new telecommunication networks, systems and equipment, upgrades, or version increments to existing telecommunication networks, systems and equipment with stakeholders. Plans, coordinates, and implements security measures to safeguard telecommunication networks, systems and equipment. Performs telecommunications modeling, analysis, and planning. Coordinates with architecture and evaluate new and emerging telecommunication technologies and make recommendations for selection of these products. Troubleshoots complex issues and if needed, coordinates vendor engagements to assist in troubleshooting efforts. Provides day-to-day operational or administrative duties for deployed infrastructure platforms in lab
