Job Summary:
Southeast Healthcare is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced (office-based) Billing Manager to oversee our billing operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate invoices, timely collections, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a proactive, analytical mindset to problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Supervise billing staff, providing coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
Monitor accounts receivable and support collection efforts.
Develop and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
Prepare and analyze billing reports and financial data.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
5+ years of experience in billing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
Strong understanding of billing procedures, systems, and regulations.
Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience working in an FQHC and/or behavioral health environment strongly preferred.
