Structural Engineer

Job Description:

Detail-oriented, reliable, creative team player in field evaluations of industrial structures, analyze data, evaluate the root cause of failure, complete analytical modeling, and calculations, and develop engineered rehabilitation/replacement plans & specifications.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Field evaluation of existing structures

• Develop calculations and analytical models in steel, concrete, and other materials

• Design of structural rehabilitation and/or replacement plans

• Specify materials, development of reports

• Technical support for structural construction

• Client interface, proposal and estimate development

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil / Structural Engineering

• Experience: Min Yr = 7 Max Yr = 10+

• Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of STAAD/SAP, AISC, AISC, AWS required

Familiarity with AutoCAD preferred

• Other Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills
