Overview
This is a Summer 2025 internship.
Responsibilities
Assist divisional occupational health coordinator in daily duties including:
Conduct site audits
Follow up with management to complete deficiencies
Participate in compliance requests and activities pertaining to the division
Manage worker related injuries and worker's compensation claims
Coordinate medical surveillance for all employees including but not limited to annual audiograms, spirometry, vision screening and lead testing
Coordinate pre-employment drug and breath alcohol screens and physicals
Other projects as assigned Qualifications
Candidate should be enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Nursing
Must have completed at least their freshman year of study
Preferred GPA of at least 2.7
Must be highly organized and have a strong ability to multitask
Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and issue identification, prioritization and resolution skills
Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team
Must be able to act objectively and within the strictest environment of confidentiality
