Job Description
They are seeking an experienced Transformer Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design and development of ruggedized transformers, magnetics, and power electronics for military and heavy industrial applications. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, ensuring the highest levels of reliability and performance in extreme environments.
Design and develop custom transformers, inductors, and magnetics for power conversion applications.
Perform magnetic, thermal, and electrical analysis to optimize product performance.
Work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure ruggedization for military and harsh industrial environments.
Lead prototype development, testing, and validation in accordance with MIL-STD and other relevant industry standards.
Collaborate with customers and internal teams to define technical specifications and requirements.
Support manufacturing and quality teams to ensure seamless production and compliance with regulatory standards. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience designing transformers and magnetics for military, aerospace, or heavy industrial applications.
Deep understanding of MIL-STD requirements and ruggedized power conversion solutions.
Expertise in high-reliability power electronics and electromagnetic component design.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in simulation and modeling tools (e.g., Ansys, Maxwell, MATLAB, PSpice).
Hands-on experience with prototype development and testing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional engineering environment. What's on Offer
