Job Title -Mechanical Engineer internship
Classification: non exempt
Salary: $18 per hour, paid weekly
Reports to: COO & R&D Mgr.
Summary:
Growing Buffalo Area Manufacturing Company:
Our Mechanical Engineer intern is responsible for assisting with designing and developing prototype games that may be brought to a production level and manufactured at our facility. Designing and implementing fixtures and procedures for production to follow is a key part of their role. Their duties include mechanical design, drafting, testing, and prototyping new systems for durability and longevity. Your primary duty is to learn and participate to facilitate your growth of knowledge.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Design and draft the mechanical portion of every game.
Establish scheduled timelines for all new projects, assist in meeting critical show dates and open houses.
Work closely with software and electrical engineers, technicians as well as shop personnel.
Design with reliability, serviceability, and cost in mind.
Follow ETL and UL standards need to be adhered to during the design process.

Good written and oral communication skills.
Educational and Experience:
- Enrolled in a BS or ASS engineering program
- Familiar with and Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up-to _50_ pounds at times.
- May be asked to travel for trade shows and to visit customer locations?
