Experienced Advanced Machinist/Toolmaker

We are currently looking to hire experienced machinists with experience in toolmaking at our facility in Bethel

Monday to Friday

7am to 4pm

$35 an hour plus overtime

Annual range from $65,000 to $85,000

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate various types of machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, CNC machines, brand saw, and drill press.

Inspect finished aerospace parts to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and specifications.

Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while operating machinery.

Follow written work instructions, able to understand assembly blueprints, tooling blueprints and build procedures.

Identify and resolve issues with processes that can lead to continue improvements.

Work closely with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes and improve productivity.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes and reduce waste.

Provide training and mentorship to junior machinists and other team members.

Ability to manufacture tools, fixtures and parts from a blueprint.
