Job Summary

Assists with special projects around the collection of self pay balances within our Accounts Receivable.

Compensation

We are committed to providing wage ranges for all open positions. This position has a flat rate, with compensation based on market analysis and other role and internal factors. The hourly wage for this position is $19.00. This reflects the base salary for this position.

Key Accountabilities

Assists with special projects involving the collection of self pay balances.

Entering information within our EMR system, including letters and notes to continue the collection process.

Works closely with Collection Agency to ensure that all system balances are accurate. This includes payment and adjustment reports, uncollectible accounts and any other reports from the agencies.

Responsible for entering and updating claims in the Revenue Recapture Portal and resolving accounts that are hitting statute of limitations.

Works system queues for Financial Assistance to determine if patients are eligible and communicates necessary information and determinations to patient.

Responsible for handling return mail and obtaining and updating addresses from invalid address reports.

Review of credit balance accounts and determining the need to transfer balances or request refund checks. Qualifications

High School diploma or GED

1-2 years of healthcare experience

Experience in medical billing or collections, preferred Schedule

80hrs/2wks

Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
