Direct Support Person (DSP) / Caregiver

Starting at $17.75/hour

Full-Time, 2nd Shift (3p-11p OR 1p-9p)

Do you want an opportunity to serve with compassion and help others? We seek patient and dedicated caregivers to assist adults with developmental disabilities in their neighborhood group home. Our Caregivers / DSPs provide support to adults living in CILA homes (Community Integrated Living Arrangements) with around-the-clock care. Developmental Foundations, a family owned company providing quality residential services since 1986, is hiring Caregivers / DSPs at our home in Cissna Park, IL.

Work schedules include a combination of weekdays, weekends and some holidays. WEEKENDS ARE REQUIRED.

Pay:

$17.75/Hour

Benefits:

DSP training is provided and paid. Once trained, you will become a certified DD Aide and will be added to the Health Care Worker Registry (HCWR)

Qualifications:

DSP or CNA experience beneficial, but not required

Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred, but not required

Entry level position. DSP training is provided and paid!

Requirements:

High school diploma or signed high school transcript, including graduation date, or G.E.D. required

Successfully complete and pass background check

Weekend availability is mandatory
