ERPA is looking for a passionate, part-time Office Assistant. The selected candidate must be a self-directed, highly motivated individual who exudes a positive, can-do attitude and a warm approachable demeanor. The Office Assistant acts as the first line of contact for clients and employees - literally, this role is the face of ERPA and requires someone with a positive and professional image while creating a welcoming and friendly environment to all who enter. Our ideal person is someone who is willing and eager to learn and jump in to help when needed.
Responsibilities
Present an overall professional image in the areas of dress, communications, and conduct
Receive all incoming calls, determine the nature of the call, and direct them accordingly
Direct members and visitors to appropriate personnel
Bank deposits; must have the ability to go the bank by foot or by car
Meeting coordination-conference rooms, snacks, meals, etc. Requires flexible start and end times for board meetings held four (4) times per year.
Signature coordination on contractual documents
Order office supplies as needed.
Oversee all common areas and making sure they are clean and inviting.
Act as back-up to the Office Manager in arranging travel and shipping of equipment to staff
Able to sit, reach, stand, walk, stoop, or kneel
Occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail according to specified procedures
Other work as assigned
Required Education, Certifications, and Experience:
High school diploma or 1 years of experience in a comparable role
Current State of Ohio Driver's License and insurance
Strong computer skills, ability to operate standard office equipment needed to perform the job
Knowledge of proper and businesslike courtesies
Effective communication skills (oral and written)
Strong organizational skills.
Possess 'team player" mindset and professionalism at all times.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.
