Job Description:

In depth proactive engagement with Financial Advisors to provide comprehensive solutions to meet client Retirement needs. Demonstrate expert knowledge of, and support for ML’s suite of retirement solutions vehicles and platforms including annuities, 529 plans and IRA Accounts. Accountable for defined and measured goals including annuity sales, high value activities and driving specific group initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

Partner groups including ISG (Alternative Markets, Capital Markets, and Managed Accounts/IAP), Employee Benefits, Insurance, and other specialists.

Conduct FA training, educational seminars and corporate sales meetings. Leverage and coordinate the segmentation and wholesaling efforts of carrier partners.

Manage activities in assigned territory with implementation of a comprehensive coverage plan and travel rotation.

Partner with specialist peers across the organization and across business units to deliver comprehensive client solutions, support broader MLWM priorities, and provide a seamless experience to the Financial Advisor.

Participate in client meetings to provide expertise and recommendations related to the most appropriate retirement solutions.

Qualifications:

8-10+ years of directly related experience, including at least 5 years of direct retail or wholesale sales experience.

Extensive knowledge of annuity products, including but not limited to fixed, fixed index, and variable annuities, and their use in comprehensive financial planning.

Strong working knowledge of IRA’s and 529 plans.

Series 7 and Series 66 required.

Life, Health and Variable Annuity Insurance licensing (or ability to obtain in 30 days)

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$160,000.00 - $175,000.00 annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.

Discretionary incentive eligible

This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary award based on their overall individual performance results and behaviors, the performance and contributions of their line of business and/or group; and the overall success of the Company.
