We’re looking for a driven Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) with a passion for clinical chemistry and a commitment to delivering quality patient care. At Interpath Laboratory, you'll join a collaborative team that values accuracy, innovation, and clinical excellence.
Schedule: 8:00 - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, Variable
What You’ll Do:
Perform high-complexity testing in the clinical chemistry department, including but not limited to: endocrinology, therapeutic drug monitoring, and metabolic panels.
Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot cutting-edge analyzers.
Review, validate, and report test results with accuracy, efficiency, and within established turnaround times.
Collaborate with physicians, pathologists, and fellow scientists to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
Maintain rigorous quality control and adhere to all laboratory regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP).
Participate in proficiency testing, continuing education, and process improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications
ASCP (or equivalent) certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technologist required.
Minimum 1–2 years of recent experience in a clinical chemistry lab preferred (new grads with strong chemistry rotations will be considered).
Familiarity with LIS systems and strong computer literacy.
Meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume lab environment.

General Physical Requirements
Medical Lab Techs must wear appropriate protective gear (lab coat, gloves, goggles, and face shield) at all times while in the lab and are regularly exposed to infection by handling potentially infectious samples. Physical requirements, in addition to willingness & ability to wear protective gear while working, are:
Ability to sit and or stand for extended period of times
Lift up to 25 pounds
Mobility to climb stairs on a regular basis
Must be able to distinguish color and pass vision acuity test in compliance with CAP regulations
OSHA Category: This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.
