We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director/Copy. Please include your portfolio link in your application; candidates without portfolios will not be considered. Candidates must reside in a commutable distance to our Mars United Commerce New York or Connecticut locations.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Subscribes to the Mars definition of creative leadership: Do you make the people and the work better? Team first, self second, no drama.

Requires a heightened sense of awareness vs. sitting back and waiting to be told what to do

Must be able to check your role and your ego at the door and do whatever it takes to deliver. Some days that may mean being the Creative Director, some days it may mean being an Associate Copywriter. And, you have to be cool with that.

Must get excited about solving brand problems and bringing disruptive thinking as much as leading great execution.

Must be able to guide brainstorms, lead storytelling and bring ideas to life using the lens of the shopper and their journey.

Need the ability to quickly react to changing priorities while staying cool.

Ability to forge strong in-person and online relationships with teammates across the network.

SKILLSETS REQUIRED:

Copywriter background

Minimum of 7 years of experience in marketing and advertising, preferably in commerce/shopper marketing space

Has managed a small to medium sized team previously (3+ years)

Can present and sell work into clients

Has worked remotely with a team

Calm and solution-oriented mindset

Empowering and engaging leader

Organized and detailed

Capable of handling a large amount of projects

Enjoys working with cross-functional team members

Able to be in the trenches with the team

Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

Compensation Range: $105,165 - $151,095 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
