The Bottle Line Quality Control checks each completed box of individual bottles picked by the Bottle Line Associates. The Bottle Line QC Associate audits each box to ensure both the correct number of bottles and the correct product type has been placed in the box according to customer order, and responds appropriately. Maintains the safety/sanitation/security of the logistics environment. He or she appropriately handles all materials following company policies and procedures. Associates should be flexible to perform other functions such as inventory control, case line picking, transfer assistance, and oddball picking.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older

Six months of experience in a similar position strongly preferred

Experience in operating a pallet jack, forklift and other power equipment preferred

High School or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required

Responsibilities

Check each completed box of split bottle orders

Maintain a high level or accuracy for the number of bottles for each order, as well as the correct product for each order

Close out correct boxes and release on conveyor to be loaded on proper truck

If inaccuracies in number of bottles or type of product are found, communicate on the Company’s intercom system with instructions for necessary corrections

Keep appropriate records to allow constructive feedback to the zones that are responsible for the most errors

Assist with physical inventories as required

Report in writing any safety or mechanical problems with the power equipment

Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Conduct operations and maintain the facility in a neat, clean, orderly, and safe manner

Assist in maintaining the security of the logistics

Perform other duties as assigned

Able to maintain very high proficiency and job standards while working in a non-temperature controlled environment that includes exposure to heat, high humidity, and inclement weather

Able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels and some dust and fumes from power equipment

Physical Requirements and Essential Job Functions

Regular, reliable attendance required

Able to frequently operate a pallet jack and/or forklift

Able to stand and walk, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel

Able to stack, unstack and relocate large amounts of product throughout the day

Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs) with some overhead lifting required

Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision and the ability to judge distance
