ET (Eddy Current) Instructor

Position Summary

We are searching for unique individuals who are self-directed, customer service driven professionals, and have the interest in combining their nondestructive testing/consulting experience to join our elite team of instructors at Hellier NDT.

This position requires extensive classroom contact including the development, revision and teaching a range of technical and non-technical topics.

Responsibilities

Instructing classes in three or more of the following methods: Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, Radiography, Ultrasonic, and Visual Testing.

Ability to teach advanced methods such as

Consulting with clients in the development of NDT procedures and written practices, development and administration of examinations to be used for certification, grading and reporting of results, and overall classroom management.

Requirements

Level III certification in at least one of the following NDT methodologies: RT, MT, PT, UT, VT & Eddy Current with hands on experience as a level II

Experience with Qualification and certification standards like NAS 410 and SNT-TC-1A, as well as other industry codes and inspection specifications like ASME and API (510/570/653)

Proficient with computer applications including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Prior involvement in the development of classroom curriculum and outlines is desirable, and experience as an instructor is a plus.

Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time
