Provide leadership and strategic direction to support system implementation, configuration, coordination, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage, and the development of specialized system procedures for Supply Chain software applications and EDI/telecommunications. Perform basic system security administration to include creating customer profile and accounts, monitor and manage internal and external system resources. Work directly with Directors and all hospital managers to improve/enhance the purchasing process through electronic order technology, user education, and hands-on training, while providing tools to assist hospital staff with controlling supply related costs. Act as a Logistics and Information Technology resource for all Supply Chain staff, suppliers, and customers. Manage all logistical and staffing functions within the Baptist Warehouse. These functions include, but are not limited to, maintaining appropriate levels of medical supplies, managing capital equipment at warehouse, providing the primary communications link between the Warehouse and Materials Management and responsible for the hiring and supervision of the Baptist Warehouse Distribution/Receiving staff.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field required. Information System Administration experience in Materials Management/Logistics/Supply Chain preferred.
Knowledge of SQL.
Knowledge of advanced Microsoft Word and Excel applications and features.
Knowledge of Horizon Enterprise Materials Management System.
Advanced database administration skills (i.e., backup and restore and performance monitoring).
Strong Organizational skills.
Strong oral and written communications skills.
Ability to work with and operate large scale automated information systems.
Ability to research and resolve complex problems. Ability to work independently.
Ability to work from broad instruction, usually in the form of desired outcome.
