OSF Saint Anthony is seeking a Thoracic Surgeon to join their busy surgical group in Rockford, IL

Experience in esophageal cancer preferred but not required

Enjoy a strong referral base from established GI affiliate group

Collaborate with a team of cardiac surgeons, vascular surgeons surgical oncologists, and pulmonologist,

Strong relationship with Cancer Center- including cancer navigator

Affiliated with University of Illinois at Rockford

Surgical first assistance available

Access to two robots

Full time, clinical base salary pay range for this position: $615,000-$666,815.

Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Additional compensation components may be applicable such as bonuses or incentives which may or may not be based on metric achievement.

Over $100,000 Student Loan Repayment available

Competitive base salary

208 hours PTO (4 weeks + 6 holidays) and will increase with years of service

480 hours sick time/year

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Doctorate Licenses/Certifications: Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.

Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.

Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal heath programs.

Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.

Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.

Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care aligned to the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served
