Research Technician 2

Department:

FAES Entomology

The Department of Entomology seeks a Research Technician 2 for approximately 40 hours/week.

This position will maintain mosquito colonies, conduct toxicology bioassays on mosquitoes, collect and record experimental data, assist in preparation of reports and manuscripts, and assist in general lab inventory and organization including chemical hygiene and waste management.

Position will report to Dr. Peter Piermarini and is based in the Wooster Science

Building of the Ohio State CFAES Wooster campus (Wooster, OH 44691).

Required Education:

Bachelor's degree required; Master’s degree preferred

Required Experience:

1 years of relevant experience required. 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Salary

The offer for this position will fall be commensurate with internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
