Role Summary
As a key player in our operations, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role includes:
Fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical instruments.
Utilizing your knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and machining procedures.
This is a second shift position—Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday, working 12-hour shifts. Plus, we’re excited to offer a $2500 sign-on bonus for new hires!
Responsibilities & Requirements
Operating Machine or Equipment: Carry out routine tasks with basic equipment and machines.
Operations Management: Follow established processes to complete operational tasks.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment.
Health, Safety, and Environment: Adhere to mandatory work instructions to ensure safety and environmental protection.
Operational Compliance: Ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory codes.
Precision Equipment Utilization: Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and dial indicators.
Instructions and Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
Internal Communications: Engage courteously with team members.
Policy and Procedures: Understand and align with organizational strategies.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience & Skills
Verbal Communication: Effectively express ideas and request actions.
Planning and Organizing: Prioritize activities to meet business objectives.
Health and Safety: Apply safe work systems.
Equipment Experience: 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
Education: High School Diploma/GED and/or 0-2 years of relevant experience.
