Role Summary
As a key member of our team, you will set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. This role includes:
Fabricating, modifying, or repairing mechanical instruments.
Applying your knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, and machining procedures.
This is a second shift position — Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday, working 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities & Requirements
Operating Machine or Equipment: Operate basic equipment and machines while carrying out routine tasks.
Operations Management: Follow established processes to carry out operational tasks.
Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment.
Health, Safety, and Environment: Adhere to mandatory work instructions to ensure safety and environmental protection.
Operational Compliance: Follow procedures to meet quality standards and regulatory codes.
Precision Equipment Utilization: Use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and dial indicators.
Instructions and Drawings: Read and interpret blueprints and geometric tolerances.
Internal Communications: Engage in courteous interactions with team members.
Policy and Procedures: Understand and apply organizational policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Preferred Experience / Skills
Verbal Communication: Clearly express ideas and request actions.
Planning and Organizing: Efficiently plan and prioritize activities to meet business objectives.
Health and Safety: Apply safe systems of work.
Equipment Experience: 2+ years of machining experience in a manufacturing or repair environment.
Education: HS Diploma / GED and/or 0-2 years relevant experience.
