Previous experience in electronics manufacturing (preferred but not required)
Description: Manage inventory in order to supply manufacturing and/or technicians with the necessary parts for manufacturing or repairing units.
Specific duties and responsibilities:
Using Volex Spokane’s ERP systems:
Cycle count inventory
Adjust count in computer as necessary to match actual
Receive parts, label and place on shelves in proper locations
Retrieve parts for work orders and as requested by the production team
Accurately count a variety of parts
Retrieve parts at technician’s request
Enter data on technician’s analysis forms
Reject and disposition damaged products
Control inventory between warehouses per buyer’s instructions
Keep all field service files in order
Maintain spreadsheets of tracking information and e-mail results
Meet pre-scheduled planning dates of customer’s products
Support other duties, as assigned
Work Environment and Safety Equipment Required: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job.
Working conditions are: 70% manufacturing environment, 30% computer work
This is an electronics manufacturing services environment that requires the use of safety devices including glasses with side shields and ESD equipment/clothing
Using proper PPE, the safe handling techniques, this position will be trained to safely handle and move lead solder and paste, isopropyl alcohol, flux, RTV, various adhesives
Ability to work in a team-based environment

Possess an excellent attitude and be willing to learn new skills, systems, and tools
Read, write, speak, and understand English
Color vision
PC skills – Windows programs
Basic math and accurate counting skills
Repetitive lifting up to 25lbs, 50 pounds maximum using team lift practices
Move items up or down while climbing a ladder
Walking or standing for prolonged periods of time
Previous experience in a distribution / material handling environment preferred
Previous experience being part of a high-performing team preferred
ERP and/ or warehouse management system experience preferred
Certified forklift driver preferred
