Job Description:

As a psychotherapist at Associated Behavioral Health Services, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals of all ages, from children to adults, with various mental health concerns. You will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, diagnosing mental health conditions, and creating personalized treatment plans to address clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting individual, couples, and/or group therapy sessions

- Administering assessments and evaluations to gather comprehensive client information

- Diagnosing mental health disorders based on observations and assessments

- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans

- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care

- Providing crisis intervention and emergency counseling when necessary

- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records

- Participating in ongoing professional development activities

Requirements:

- Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field

- Current state license to practice as a Psychotherapist or eligibility for licensure

- Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations and a wide range of mental health conditions

- Active malpractice insurance during active practicing $1,000,000/$3,000,000

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to work independently and within a team

- Proficiency in electronic health records systems

ABHS is a growing outpatient behavioral health practice led by our three managing partners, all of whom are LCSW-C clinicians and actively maintain a caseload. Established in 2017, our practice has expanded on a telehealth basis in New Jersey, West Virginia, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Florida, with Maryland currently being our only physical office location. We are seeking clinicians who may be interested in obtaining dual licensure in any of the aforementioned states, and we are prepared to assist in this process. Our client base is diverse, predominantly non-emergency cases, and typically falls within a generalized scope. Many clients seek assistance with various mood and adjustment disorders. Furthermore, we are supported by a Doctor of Psychiatry and two nurse practitioners.

Our organization offers a variety of remote and hybrid work models, including part-time and full-time fully remote positions. These opportunities are available for independent contractors or as 1099 positions. Additionally, we have both full-time and part-time positions as employees, although they are not fully remote and require one day to be spent in the office.
