Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Receiver to join our warehouse team. The Receiver will play a crucial role in ensuring that all incoming shipments are accurately processed and stored. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and be familiar with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.

Utilize RF scanners to track inventory and update stock levels in the system.

Organize and store products in designated areas of the warehouse.

Assist with order picking and packing as needed to fulfill customer orders.

Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks and reach trucks safely.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficiency and safety.

Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet operational goals.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a warehouse or stockroom environment is preferred.

Strong basic math skills for accurate inventory management.

Familiarity with order picking, packing, and shipping processes.

Proficient in using RF scanners for inventory tracking.

Ability to operate pallet jacks and reach trucks safely.

Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members.
