Job Description
Mito Health is looking for an experienced and reliable phlebotomist to support blood draws at a three-day health and longevity event happening May 28 –30 in Austin, TX.
The phlebotomist will draw blood for tests that we do for clients onsite.
You'll be responsible for drawing blood between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM (9 hours per day). All materials will be provided, and you’ll work closely with our team on-site to ensure a seamless, professional experience for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Perform safe and accurate venipuncture on-site at the event
Greet clients warmly and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor throughout
Label, package, and hand off specimens according to provided protocols
Collaborate with the event operations team and communicate any issues promptly
Ensure proper sanitation and safety measures at all times
Monitor storage and inventory of supplies
Adhere to laboratory safety policies and procedures
Assist in the recovery of patients with adverse reactions
Qualifications:
Active Phlebotomy Certification in Austin, Texas (required)
Previous experience in phlebotomy, nursing, or other related fields at least 2 years of experience
Ability to build rapport with patients
Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational skills
Punctual, detail-oriented, and confident in handling 10–20 clients per day
Bonus: Familiarity with diagnostics or wellness testing protocols
This is a contract / temporary position, perfect for someone with mobile or event-based phlebotomy experience who’s excited about health, wellness, and making an impact in people’s lives.
