Technical Lead

Job Description

ComResource is looking for a Technical Lead.

We need someone to assist in leading the development of full-stack eCommerce applications, with a strong focus on Java, Spring Boot, and front-end technologies, while mentoring team members and ensuring high-quality code delivery.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and development of applications that support eCommerce platforms using industry best practices.

Implement new features and maintain existing functionality with rapid iteration to meet evolving business needs.

Drive test-driven development (TDD) and ensure Dev-owned quality across the development lifecycle.

Develop functional and technical documentation for assigned projects.

Analyze architecture to optimize performance and scalability.

Mentor junior engineers and promote strong development practices.

Participate in CI/CD development workflows and agile ceremonies.

Essentials:

4+ years of experience with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript on the front end.

Strong experience with Java and SQL on the back end.

Proficiency in Spring/Spring Boot frameworks.

Experience writing complex SQL and integrating via JDBC, stored procedures, and DB views.

Familiarity with JavaScript design patterns (MVC, etc.) and templating languages like JSP/JSTL.

Background in test-driven development using Jasmine, Karma, Junit, or Mockito.

Experience with Angular, AngularJS, ES6, and legacy jQuery stacks.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies and CI/CD workflows.

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Desired:

Experience deploying containers with Docker or Kubernetes.

Background in managing applications in Linux environments with scripting (bash, Perl, etc.).

Understanding of progressive enhancement and cross-browser debugging.
