Job Title: Program Manager

Location: Washington, DC 20006, United States or Reston, VA

Pay Rate: $130.00–$135.00 per hour (W2)

Job Type: 3-month Contract

Shift: 2nd Shift Monday – Friday

Job Description

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement program strategies, objectives, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery

Coordinate and participate in project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration

Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation plans

Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders

Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines

Evaluate program performance and identify areas for improvement

Provide guidance and support to project team members, ensuring their professional development

Maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders

Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold a respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Project Management)

Proven experience as a Program Manager or in a similar role

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools

Exceptional organizational and time management abilities

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Additional Notes:

Seeking candidates with financial services and PMO experience, coupled with a technology background

Preferably local to Washington, DC / Reston, VA, but open to candidates in the Eastern Time Zone with the right background
