Job Description

Job Title: Front Desk - Customer Services

Location: Farmington Hills, MI 48334 (Worksite: 1050 Corporate Office Drive, Milford, MI – Henry Ford Family & Athletic Medicine)

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Type: 13-Week Contract (with possibility of extension or full-time employment)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Services Specialist to support front desk operations at a busy medical office. This role involves patient interaction, appointment coordination, and payment processing in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and check in/out patients with professionalism and efficiency

Collect bill payments and issue receipts

Ensure accurate data entry of patient information

Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries in person and by phone

Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to support daily operations

Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

Experience in a medical office setting preferred

Previous front desk or patient registration experience

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus
