The Inside Sales Engineer role will support our existing customer base by delivering exceptional account service and maintenance. Collaborate with all company teams to ensure excellent customer service as well as participate in strategic initiatives to improve the overall customer and sales relationship.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Promote and model the THI Vision, Mission, Values, Team Principles, and Service Promises

Take ownership of House Accounts improving customer interaction and development.

First pass vetting of RFQ opportunities

Manage the Quoting priorities and measurement of quoting KPI’s

Work with intra-company teams to ensure prototype process hits all KPIs and speed delivery to customer.

Support strategic initiatives within the organization acting with a customer first mentality.

Works closely with customers to identify and understand current workflows, utilizing an 80/20 mindset

Proactively create more efficient methods to deliver excellent customer service with a continuous improvement mindset

Participate in the SIOP process expanding coverage to include strategic accounts.

Tracks customer feedback in order to influence the product roadmap and maintain communication with clients to resolve product issues

Identify opportunities and customer needs that will lead to new business

Collaborates with Technical Account Management to complete customer associated tasks as necessary.

Manage the marketing, promotion and implementation of campaigns with experiences in successfully executing outbound marketing tactics.

Promote internal marketing initiatives using effective communication tactics to increase participation and excitement among sales staff.

Required Background, Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business or other related field.

Demonstrated capacity to use high level thinking and problem-solving skills

Analytical approach to resolving customer situations

Ability to review data and write routine summary reports upon demand

Strong experience with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

Demonstrated capacity to create visual reports from tabulated data.
