YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting Sow Care Manager opportunity in our Guymon location. The Sow Care Manager will be responsible for collaborating with veterinary and production teams to implement and maintain herd health plans. You will serve as a liaison between sow farms and health and welfare leadership while conducting routine farm visits to monitor care practices, provide coaching, and assess protocol adherence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Support biosecurity compliance and lead response efforts during disease outbreaks (e.g., PRRS, PED, influenza)
Monitor treatment and sow/litter mortality data, investigate deviations, and drive corrective actions
Ensure proper medication and vaccination usage, withdrawal compliance, and thorough documentation
Train caretakers and sow farm supervisors in best practices for sow care, farrowing, and piglet handling
Mentor staff on early identification of illness, farrowing challenges, and welfare concerns
Review and analyze production data including sow performance, piglet survivability, and treatment rates
Identify trends in sow and piglet health and partner with teams to improve outcomes
Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Veterinarian

QUALIFICATIONS

Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred or two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be to work independently with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work flexible hours.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, not required.
