Description
We are seeking a Lead Engineer with strong Windows experience across both server and desktop environments. This role is pivotal in the development and maintenance of our Stepwise integration, driving innovation and ensuring seamless functionality. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the development of our StepWise instance / environment. Your technical expertise will guide both internal and external customers in solving complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Design:
Partnering with vendors and/or business units to determine basic functional technical requirements for StepWise environments
Partnering with vendors and/or representatives from various architecture, infrastructure, and security groups to determine non-functional technical requirements for StepWise environments
Application Foundation Build/Maintenance:
Coordinate and drive technical prerequisites with appropriate teams (Network Engineering, Desktop, Security, Server/Hosting, DBA, etc.)
Build and configure the StepWise application on Windows Servers
Collaborate with vendor to coordinate and drive changes, upgrades, or other work
Project Management/IT Liaison
Drive completion of deliverable work with other infrastructure teams (manage tickets, resolve technical blockers) and report on progress to project/program managers
Drive necessary technical conversations with appropriate teams as they come up, and report on progress
Act as a liaison between IT and the business/project. This role is a representative of one to the other in both directions.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced working knowledge and skill of professional field with ability to function as a subject matter expert for other staff across multiple technologies
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field, plus 7 years of work experience beyond degree.
Preferred Qualifications:
Work experience with content management and search solutions
Work experience on open source technologies like Angular, React, NodeJS
In-depth knowledge writing complex SQL queries for relational and no-SQL databases
Proficiency in building web-based and/or mobile applications including Flutter
API development experience using Mulesoft or Java
Experience in one of the Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) with end to end application building, source controlling and deployment
Work experience as a .NET Developer and/or Java
Familiarity with agile environments
Troubleshooting abilities and effective communication skills
This position is a Hub role, which requires an employee to occasionally come onsite to the designated office -Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI- for applicable heads-up work. Frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership.
The full salary range for this position is $98,400 - $168,600. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and/or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
