Job Description:

Looking for a Sr. Software Engineer responsible for the analysis, design, code, testing, and documentation of a major project, combining the expertise of banking knowledge with the importance of conceptualizing the programs to be developed based on specifications.

Core Requirements/Technical Skills:

Operating System: LINUX, UNIX

Languages: Cobol, JCLs

Scripting language: Shell Script, PowerShell

DB: Oracle

Microfocus, Eclipse

Nice to haves:

Bilingual Spanish/English language proficiency

Responsibilities:

Analyze the requirements

Design the better solution aligned as the core banking

Create processes/programs to cover the needs and requirements in the analysis phase

Unit test aligned with the better practices of the bank and do the revisions to eliminate errors

Design and implement tests that will help in the end-to-end quality of major deliverables. Analyze testing results and report issues found

Review test results with the team, complete final program documentation

Prepare the whole documentation to follow the change management process to deploy the processes/programs in production environment

Participate in the post-implementation of production processes/programs, ensuring the delivery of the information required for the project

Iterate as many times as the bank requires according to the needs of the project, to guarantee the delivery of the information
