Responsible for providing evaluation and treatment upon physician referral to a patient population consisting of varying diagnosis.

Will assess, identify and treat all areas of deficits impacting communication, cognition and swallowing.

Provides instruction and education to the patient/caregiver to promote the safe execution of the facilitatory techniques taught. Qualifications:

Education:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Certification Requirements:

Current Speech Pathologist license from the State of California Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.

Current Certificate of Clinical Competency by the American Speech, language, Hearing Association

Current CPR recognition Experience:

One year experience in acute care, extended care, rehabilitation, mental health or outpatient setting preffered.
