Mobile Android Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product and design teams to craft innovative Android application experiences.

Implement custom native user interfaces utilizing the latest techniques in Android development.

Optimize application code for quality, efficiency, and performance, ensuring a smooth user experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

At least 2 years of programming experience in a relevant language.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in building Android applications using Java or Kotlin with Android SDK.

Proficient in developing maintainable and testable code bases, with a grasp of API design and unit testing techniques.

Skilled in multithreading programming and mobile memory management.

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience (must be completed before joining Meta).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in shipping at least one large-scale product to production that supports millions of active users.
