Job Description
We are seeking a Technology Analyst to join our team! You will be responsible for on-site, client-facing evaluations of client technologies and standards against IT best practices and CMIT standards. The Technology Analyst will identify gaps where standards are not aligned, and present recommendations to the Account Managers for closing the gaps. The Technology Analyst role will be the technical eyes and ears for the Account Managers, assisting them in translating technical risk into the business strategy. This role will also assist in maintaining, updating, and phasing out these same standards.
Responsibilities:
Follow structured onsite agenda including alignment audits and proactive services
Meet with client point of contact to discuss onsite activities and collect client feedback
Identify technical risk and observe technical issues firsthand
Develop and maintain technical knowledge of client environments
Assist project team with upgrades that may require client specific architecture knowledge
Assist support team with advanced issues that may require client specific knowledge
Perform scheduled reactive tasks requiring onsite work
Assist with client recommendations and proposals in collaboration with Account Managers and Project Team
Recommend improvements to client IT environments to reduce the number of support tickets
Assist in maintaining, updating, and sunsetting CMIT technology standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience
5+ years of IT services industry experience providing solutions and support to clients
5+ years of recent IT Cloud, server, and network troubleshooting experience
5+ years supporting Microsoft Windows Server
Managed IT services experience preferred but not required
Professional customer service skills
