Project Engineer - Low Voltage Electrical Contractor

SABER Technologies is a low-voltage electrical contractor based in Fife, WA and serving the Pacific Northwest. We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team!

Job Summary:

The Project Engineer at SABER Technologies plays a critical role in designing, implementing, facilitating and managing projects. This role requires technical expertise in network infrastructure, video surveillance, access control, intrusion detection and audio/video systems, as well as strong project management skills to ensure successful execution from planning to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

· System Design & Integration: Develop, test, and implement advanced low voltage systems, including IP networking, communications infrastructure, security systems, audio/video systems, and wireless communication.

· Project Planning & Coordination: Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Develop project budgets, plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

· Budget & Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial efficiency while meeting quality standards.

· Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams, ensuring alignment of goals and expectations.

· Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize delays, technical setbacks and adverse financial impacts.

· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure projects adhere to industry regulations, local code, and client-specific requirements.

· Team Leadership & Collaboration: Work closely with managers, engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of installations and system integrations.

· Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track project milestones, generate reports, and present findings to management and stakeholders.

· Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide expertise in resolving system issues and optimizing performance pre-installation and post-installation.

· Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project outcomes and implement lessons learned for future process optimizations.

Required Qualifications:

· Strong knowledge of IP networking, communications infrastructure, security systems, audio/video systems, wireless communication, and security protocols

· Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.

· Ability to prioritize and multitask.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proven project management experience with expertise in scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment.

· Previous experience in construction contracting a plus.

· Previous experience with union labor force a plus.

· Previous experience in government contracting a plus.

· Previous experience utilizing Bluebeam Revu.

Compensation Range:

$55,000 annually - $70,000 annually

Final determination of a successful candidate’s starting pay will vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience. The successful candidate will be offered the position with compensation determined by SABER Technologies, LLC. Growth in skills and responsibilities will be encouraged throughout the candidate’s employment. As skills and responsibilities are increased, compensation will follow.
