Simonson Lumber is looking for class A or B driver to help build loads, assist customers, deliver materials to job sites, inspect and maintain the truck, report shortages and claims to Yard Manager, assists in the loading and storing of materials and helps with overall yard cleanliness . All deliveries are local and you will be home nightly.

High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) required. 6 months experience driving trucks, preferably lumber dumping experience and 6 months experience operating a forklift preferred. Must have the ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions and complete forms; communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors using verbal and written skills; have the knowledge and ability to use safe lifting techniques; knowledge of road restrictions; and knowledge of roadside inspections & load securement requirements. Must be able to frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and occasionally up to 75 lbs.
