Artificial Intelligence Lead

We are seeking an experienced and innovative colleague to help drive AI initiatives in our products and features. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in generative AI, tooling, the landscape as well as proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

AI Strategy: Help develop and execute a comprehensive AI strategy that aligns with our company's overall goals and vision. Collaborate with company leadership to identify opportunities for AI integration and enhancement within existing products.

Product Development: Lead the development and implementation of AI-powered products and features, from concept to launch – we aim for a 50%/50% split between hands-on-coding vs. other tasks.

Qualifications:

Demonstrable Experience: Professional, academic, or open source projects relevant to the latest generative AI trends and tools including experience with local and open source models, agentic, multi-agent and workflow architectures, tool use, RAG, fine-tuning, etc.

Experience: 5+ years overall product development experience, 2+ of which should be leveraging commercial large language models to build software products. Candidates should be able to design, prototype, and deliver new AI products and features.

Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams, and to work effectively across functions.

Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
