The Opportunity:
The Account Coordinator supports the day-to-day sales efforts of The Wilmington Group, while maintaining and building both existing and new customer and supplier relationships, pricing, and profitability. This position will provide the opportunity to grow in an Account Manager role.
Travel Demands: periodically as needed.
How you will make an impact: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. This position will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:
Serve as liaison between THE PROGRAM operations and commercial team.
Collaborate and support the execution of projects to realize growth opportunities and achieve revenue targets.
Track and document sales metrics and develop business presentations.
Support all activities related to best-in-class customer service to ensure total customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clear understanding of all waste streams, recyclable materials (including paper, plastics, and other grades produced) at assigned supplier plants and understand where and how it is currently being shipped, and the associated pricing structure.
Continuously manage and know all options for the logistics, handling, and sale of the tonnage out of assigned supplier plants.
Respond to supplier changes in production and services needs through problem solving, providing alternative sales and service options.
Support the generation of necessary reports and interact with the logistics team and supplier plant personnel as needed to support customer/supplier satisfaction.
Support completion of required monthly reporting, such as updating of margin reports, pricing grids, enhancement grids, supplier pricing confirmation letters, and supplier reporting requirements as needed.
Communicate regularly with suppliers by providing market updates, project updates, and reports.
Support new supplier set up including obtaining all pertinent paperwork to set up in internal system and portals for new accounts.
Ensure that each facility has filled out questionnaires for Program+ and additional suite of services.
Support projects designed to achieve growth goals and revenue targets.

Education/Experience:
Bachelors Degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, sales, and/or customer service is preferred.
Required Skills:
Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and Smartsheet.
Experience with a CRM or other similar sales pipelining platforms is desired.
Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
Capable of multi-tasking while being highly organized, with excellent time management skills.
Ability to learn and ask questions. including the ability to understand and analyze complex information in the context of the processes being taught.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to creatively determine the most efficient solution to unique issues that are presented on the fly.
Capable of communicating effectively in person, over video conferences, via email and phone, and in groups as a presenter or contributor.
Thorough understanding and comfort with the digital world, including a comfort level in learning how to utilize various digital platforms as needed to complete tasks.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships both inside and outside the organization.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
