Responsibilities:
Lead various multi discipline projects/Study's which includes civil and structural scopes. Projects can range from Parking lots, Building expansions, Guard houses, Trailer docks, Storm Retention, and Tank Pits.
Serve as N.A. "Subject Matter Expert" related to Civil & Structural systems.
Collaborate and work along side other SME's internally to support scope/schedules.
Investigate building industry trends, global *** trends, and current/past building issues
Manage 10-15 Manufacturing and Non-Manufacturing projects at one time.
Coordinate weekly external stakeholders mtgs to review current status, scope, estimate and project schedules.
Provide internal review of Civil & Structural system drawings from outside engineering firms to support system implementation.
Ensure compliance with related local, state, national codes, facility operations and
Experience in building design and construction.
Experience in industrial and/or office buildings and building related systems.
Experience with project planning including estimating, scheduling and scope/proposal development.
Intermediate level experience of computer skills (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects, & Outlook)
Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% when required. No international Travel.
Willingness and ability to work up to 20% overtime when required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
The level of Experience is 0-5 years. 3-5+ years in civil/Structural engineering design
Experience in design criteria development for civil & structural systems.
Automotive experience with engine, transmission, or vehicle facilities or similar industrial manufacturer.
Ability to travel to meet with Customer [ Boots On]
Good organizational skills, communication skills, schedule management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, AutoCAD
