Staff Test Engineer to join our team.

THE POSITION Sr.

Staff Test Engineer, Continental Automotive Systems, Inc., Deer Park, IL: Develop automatic test architecture for telematic products.

Create automated test scripts for telematic products.

Create or source test equipment for telematic product testing.

Develop test automation strategy for Telematic products.

Review of automated test cases and tools for telematic products.

Develops specialized automated testing supporting product warranty issues.

Investigate and analyze new tools to support automated testing.

Management of test script repositories.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40%. Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week.

$131,369.00 - $155,960.00 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience.

Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following: Automated testing architecture design to support vehicle telematics; Vehicle system architecture, including CAN Bus, Power system, Telematic communications, and test equipment; Object-oriented programming in Python, Vector CAPL, Microsoft Visual Studio, or SQL; Microprocessor-based tool design and software programming, including Arduino and Raspberry Pi mini computer boards; Mobile phone (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) testing using Qualcomm QXDM and QPST tools; and National Instrument LabView tests and test tools.
