Senior BA - JDE Distribution/MDM

Summary:

A Houston-based company is seeking an experienced JD Edwards Techno-Functional expert to join their team. This role focuses on the manufacturing, distribution, and financial modules. You will work across the organization to optimize processes, ensure best practices, and leverage your JD Edwards expertise to address both existing and new issues and opportunities.

Responsibilities:

As a JD Edwards Analyst, you will utilize your strong functional (70%) and technical (30%) expertise, along with solid communication and problem-solving skills, to guide the design, development, deployment, and ongoing support of critical information and software systems.

Reporting to the Enterprise Application Manager, you will provide application support, collaborate with internal customers, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Must have experience with Distribution, Warehouse Management, Master Data Management and Inventory Management, and DSI.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and end-users to gather requirements and understand business processes.

Customize existing JD Edwards applications to enhance functionality.

Design, configure, develop, implement, test, and maintain JD Edwards applications.

Provide technical support to end-users and resolve issues promptly.

Preferred experience with upgrades, migrations, and third-party integrations.

Preferred knowledge of web development tools such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Develop and maintain technical documentation related to JD Edwards development and support activities.

Excellent communication skills. Requirements:

BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent professional and technical knowledge acquired through work experience.

7-10 years of experience in JD Edwards development and functional support.

Proficiency in Oracle JD Edwards 9.2 (Release 22 or higher),

3+ years experience working with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server is preferred. .

Experience working with SQL, Orchestrations, BSSVs, and UDOs.

Knowledge of Service Pro is a plus Additional Information:
