Process Technician is responsible for monitoring and improving manufacturing and engineering processes. He is responsible for identifying when the process is deviating from the norm and taking action to correct deviations or involve senior members of staff if/when they are not able to correct the problem.
1. Performs regular process set-up for mass-pro readiness. Follows standard practices and procedures such as those defined in the PM specification, calibration specification, WI, JA, FMEA, OCAP and etc.
2. Performs regular test and quality inspections of product output. Monitors input and output parameters and conducts supervised adjustments on input parameters that are within the defined specification.
3. Provides basic to advanced support to isolate and conduct verification during process, yield and product quality excursion.
4. Solves simple to moderate problems within area of responsibility, analyzes root causes and proposes corrective actions. Executes defined OCAP for process out of control.
5. Maintains documentation of process and procedures for future reference including report generation on engineering activities.
Assists on job trainings, for new machines/upgrades, to workers when needed.
6. Provides OQE updates on general status of process, qualification run activities, process changes, etc. Coordinates with internal customers (equipment, OQE) and suppliers (warehouse) for critical requirements. Relays impact of mechanical changes to process to equipment team
7. Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Technology Course +2 years' experience
Engineering or BS Related courses Graduate + O - 1 Yr. Exp.
EE/ME/ECE/ChE/MSE/Physics/Electro-mechatronics
Technical
Health and Safety Compliance
Good problem-solving skills (PDCA, DMAIC, Fishbone, etc)
Knowledge on Quality Standards EMS, IMS, etc.
