Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for a result driven and qualified Human Resources (HR) Manager, with business partnering skills, to oversee a full spectrum of Human Resources services. Reporting to the Executive Director, Global Human Resources, dotted-line to Site General Manager, the HR Manager is responsible for creating and administering HR initiatives that align with business objectives plant-wide, and foster a safe, positive, productive, and engaging work environment.
The incumbent will:
Provide leadership and expertise for a broad range of HR activities including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, training, and organizational change management
Partner with global HR team to support functional processes such as performance management, talent development, and salary planning
Serve as the first point of contact for individual contributors, people managers, and global leaders, providing leadership, coaching and support for individual needs & HR processes
Engage in talent acquisition activities and the onboarding & integration of new hires; ensure robust plans to attract diverse talents; build a talent pipeline and drive engagement initiatives
Ensuring domestic payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner while accounting for the funding of all payroll deductions to third parties and tax authorities
Use data to drive decision making and following lean principles, analyze people trends and analytics to enhance solutions, processes and policies that address current issues and mitigate future risk
Support global HR projects and implement them in a timely and efficient manner
Provide guidance and input on organisational structure, workforce planning and succession planning. Assesses and anticipates HR-related needs within the site.
Maintain current knowledge of related compliance and legal rules and regulations, fulfil compliance and reporting requirement, and able to provide sound consultation and guide on labor relations matters
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
More than 10 years’ experience in site HR leadership roles supporting about 80 employees’ size, and manufacturing experience is a must
BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
SHRM or PHR Certificate
Ability to deliver change management programs.
Extensive knowledge of employment laws and practices
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities demonstrate a high competence in organizational decision making
Experience of working in well-established global multinationals with matrix reporting structures.
Aptitude of coaching teams and providing feedback, partnering with leaders on all aspects of employee relations and responsibility of all employee actions
