About the Technical Product Manager role
As our technical product manager, you’ll play a crucial role in Powercast’s growth by overseeing the full lifecycle of high-tech wireless power products. From market research to product development through production, you’ll ensure alignment between engineering teams and business requirements for Powercast products.
In the technical product manager role, your day-to-day responsibilities include the following:
Defining product vision and strategy through analysis of market trends, customer needs, and business goals
Collaborating with stakeholders, customers, and development teams to gather requirements and prioritize them based on business value, feasibility, and technical constraints
Developing and maintaining a product roadmap that outlines the timeline, milestones, and features of the product, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering teams, product designers, marketing, and sales, to ensure effective coordination throughout the product development lifecycle and product launch
Conducting market and competitive analysis by monitoring market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities, anticipate market changes, and make informed product decisions
Providing leadership and guidance, acting as a subject matter expert, and advocating for the product’s vision while making critical decisions to resolve conflicts that may arise
Represent Powercast at Industry trade shows and client site visits; ability to travel up to 20%.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
Proven experience in technical products and marketing with the electronics market preferred
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to be hands on with the company’s products to understand their functionality
