Computer Aided Design Drafter with Graphic Design

JOB PURPOSE:

The CAD Drafter/Graphic Designer is responsible for designing and creating production drawings to be used by Operations as models. This position interacts with customers regarding product or design related questions when necessary. This position Is 75% CAD Drafting and 25% Graphic Design.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and produce CAD drawings for production.

Create design drawings for project submission.

Provide take-offs for project opportunities.

Incorporate 3rd party hardware and help develop product applications upon customer demand.

Effectively communicate between members of the Account Management team, Product Development, and Operations. to ensure client success.

Interface with customers as needed.

Demonstrate extreme knowledge of our product mix.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1-3 years' experience with CAD software required.

Experience within a manufacturing setting producing drawings for production strongly preferred.

Strong technical skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MicroStation preferred.

Self-motivated, team player, that can work autonomously and at a fast pace when required.

Experience Interacting with customers to provide a service.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Bachelor's Degree preferred.
